In case ADDTAPSHEET being used at site, there is no need to remove the existing waterproofing membrane or other protective materials, which makes you save the removal cost.
In case of liquid-applied membrane waterproofing such as Urethane and asphalt membrane waterproofing, removing the existing waterproofing membrane or other protective materials must be followed, which makes you bear lots of cost. ADDTAPSHEET, however, makes you execute waterproofing work only after removing tiny materials which can damage the sheet. Thus, you can save lots of cost for removing the said materials.
Not necessary to dry working surface - Not affected due to wetting condition
In case of membrane-coating such as Urethane and membrane-adhesive such as Asphalt, the working quality can be affected by wetting condition. In order to get good results of working, it is necessary to maintain the surface temperature not less than –5℃ and dry the surface for more than 15~20 days under Korean climate. However, in the real constructing work, it is very difficult to keep the said thing. Accordingly, due to the expansion of water vapor from the moisture contained therein, waterproofing membrane can be inevitably separated from the contact surface with the passage of time. In the meantime, since ADDTAPSHEET does not need to be bonded the contact surface, it is not necessary to dry the surface. Accordingly, waterproofing work with ADDTAPSHEET can be conducted right after it rained.
Light weight of ADDTAPSHEET makes the buildings bear no load. - Another material with load is not necessary.
Attaching heavy waterproofing materials onto the existing materials with heavy load can make the building face structural danger. To make matters worse, non-exposed waterproofing work makes it impossible to control and maintain the quality of waterproof after completion of the work, which can cause the membrane to gradually be separated from the contact surface as time goes on. Swelling(Air-pocket), chronic problem of Urethane, is formed by water vapor pressure which is made due to moisture and/or dew under the waterproofing membrane. ADDTAPSHEET forms waterproofing layers which are not adhesive to the surface of concrete and separated from the surface. As moisture and dew created under the waterproofing layers are emitted through the sheet, ADDTAPSHEET forms waterproofing layers without swelling(air-pocket).

Fracture of waterproofing layers made by movements, expansion in summer and shrinkage in winter, is a critical problem which can not be settled by the conventional working method. In multi-layered waterproofing methods, it is common to apply coating material such as urethane on the butt-laying of two sheets, which is very risky working method and has never being conducted in advanced countries. Basically, all sheets maintain tight tension through the process of production and packing. If tensioned sheet is laid on and bonded with other tensioned sheet, both sheets would shrink. In this case, if there is no mechanical fixing or enough shrinkage time on the bonded sheets, the connected parts can be fractured by the shrinkage of both sheets.
